Metal Halide Lamps

Metal Halide Bulbs are used both for many different purposes, and for very specific applications which require specific Ultra Violet or blue-frequency light source. Metal Halide Lamps are used for indoor horticulture applications, because they can provide a different spectrum and temperature of light which encourage general plant growth. Metal Halide lights are very common reef aquariums because the MH Lamp source is good for their corals.  Be careful of buying cheap metal halide bulbs, they can shatter, which can serious injury.
