Hybrid Ballast

Hybrid is a type of ballast that is low frequency electronic or in other words is a magnetic ballast with some electronic parts that switch the voltage off to the ballast coil once the light bulb is up and running. A small increase in efficiency happens via more expensive materials (magnetic coil) and there is no power from there to the lamp.
